Stitch Together: Crocheting in the Round

Stitch Together: Crocheting in the Round In-Person

Join us for the fourth part of a 5-part series on learning how to crochet! Adults and teens welcome.

In this session, we're going to learn how to crochet in the round - a.k.a. in a circle! We'll go over:

  • What "in the round" means and how it differs from the crochet in our previous sessions.
  • How to start a crochet project in the round.
  • Turning vs. working in continuous rounds.

The session will end with an easy project that you can take home - a round coaster.

Yarn, hooks, and stitch markers will be available for attendees to use in limited quantities. We highly recommend bringing your own supplies that you are comfortable with, as it will make learning how to crochet, and sticking with it, much easier! In this session we will be using:

  • Any weight of yarn; size 4 medium weight is suggested.
  • Any size of crochet hook; size G or H is suggested.
  • 1 stitch marker
