Stitch Together: Crocheting Amigurumi

Stitch Together: Crocheting Amigurumi In-Person

Join us for the last part of a 5-part series on learning how to crochet!

In this last session, we're going to learn how to create Amigurumi! We'll go over:

  • What Amigurumi is.
  • How it uses all the skills we've learned this year - and it's not as hard as it looks!
  • Examples of all the different Amigurumi you can make.

The session will end with an easy project that you can take home - a colorful mini ghost!

Yarn, hooks, and stitch markers will be available for attendees to use in limited quantities. We highly recommend bringing your own supplies that you are comfortable with, as it will make learning how to crochet, and sticking with it, much easier! In this session we will be using:

  • Any size yarn; note that the heavy the yarn, the larger the ghost.
  • Crochet hook size appropriate for your yarn of choice, minus a size or two to prevent gaps between stitches.
  • 2 stitch markers.
  • Stuffing - polyfil fiber, tissues, yarn scraps, etc.
