Finding Food Where It Grows In-Person

Explore the many ways food can be sourced—from wild foraging to home gardening on Saturday, May 10 at 2:00 pm with the Garden Club of Rogers. Certified Level 1 Ozark Forager and GCR member Haley O’Brien will share tips on foraging and identifying native edible plants. Then, local gardener Jason Nuttle will talk about his experience growing shiitake mushrooms. To wrap up, we’ll head to the library garden with Elizabeth Smith to plant tomatoes, peppers, and green beans.

Registration is required for this program. This program is for adults (18 & up).
